Located on the outskirts of one of Cheshire’s most picturesque villages, our client wanted a traditional home that would fit within the local vernacular. By replacing a 1960’s dormer bungalow, the desire for a much enlarged floor space posed possible problems for the planning application. Our design proposals focused on minimising the visual impact of a two storey build - with particular attention to the rooflines - while maximising the footprint. The client provided a detailed wish-list which we were able to satisfy through a high level of design detail, both to the exterior and within.
